Risk Disclosure

Last updated: 26 October 2026

Trading can result in substantial losses, including the loss of all money committed to trading. Leveraged products, including CFDs and leveraged forex, can cause losses rapidly. Do not trade with money you cannot afford to lose.

1. Education is not a promise of results

Banana Trading provides general educational material, analytical learning tools and a community. These do not assess your personal situation, financial objectives, experience or capacity to bear losses. They are not a personal investment recommendation. Completing a course, subscribing or obtaining partner access does not make trading safe or establish that a product is suitable for you. Consider independent advice from a suitably qualified professional before taking financial risks.

2. Market, leverage and execution risks

Prices can move sharply because of news, liquidity changes or unexpected events. Leverage magnifies gains and losses relative to your margin. Your broker may close positions when margin is insufficient. The amount you can lose, and any negative-balance protection, depend on the product, provider, account classification and applicable rules. Do not assume every account has the same protections.

Stop-loss and take-profit instructions do not guarantee execution at the selected price. Gaps, slippage, spreads, low liquidity, rejected orders, outages and delays can change the outcome. Commissions, funding charges, conversion costs and other broker fees can reduce returns and increase losses. The FCA’s CFD information explains why these products require particular care.

3. Signals and copy trading

A signal may be wrong, arrive late or become outdated before you act. Entry prices, stops and targets are not guarantees. Different accounts may receive different execution prices or position sizes. You decide whether to act and remain responsible for instructions submitted to your broker.

Copy trading can open or close positions automatically under a separate broker service. A copied strategy may change, experience drawdowns or fail. Copying another trader does not guarantee their past results or remove the need to understand allocation, leverage, fees and loss limits. Review the broker’s permissions and stop-copy controls before enabling a connection. Banana Trading course access does not activate copy trading.

4. Analytical tools, AI and historical examples

Charts, pattern detection, indicators, calculators and AI output may contain errors or use incomplete or delayed data. Check important inputs and outputs independently. Automated output is not a substitute for judgement and risk controls.

Historical performance, backtests, hypothetical examples and screenshots are not reliable predictions of future returns. Results may omit costs, execution constraints or the effect of real financial pressure. No course, tool, signal or strategy guarantees profits, a particular win rate or recovery of previous losses.

5. Brokers, country restrictions and referral arrangements

Before opening an account, identify the exact broker entity, its regulator, permitted services and the protections available in your country. Check custody, withdrawals, complaints procedures and any compensation arrangements directly. A familiar brand name, referral link or access to education does not by itself establish regulatory approval or investor protection.

We may receive commission for referrals. This creates a potential commercial conflict of interest. A course-fee waiver is not a reason to deposit money, use leverage or trade more than is appropriate for you. Partner programmes and financial promotions are subject to local restrictions. Review independent information from the FCA on CFD investor protections and ESMA on CFD protections and incentives. These references are not endorsements of Banana Trading or any broker.

6. Your decision and support

Read the broker’s own risk warnings and product documents, decide your loss limits and consider whether you can sustain a complete loss before trading. Keep account credentials private. This disclosure is a general overview, not an exhaustive list of risks, and does not waive mandatory consumer rights.
