Comments

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media

Cookies

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select "Remember Me", your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
Embedded content from other websites

Who we share your data with

How long we retain your data
Suggested text: If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data

You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Optional Google sign-in
If you choose Google sign-in, Google sends us your account identifier, verified email and first name to create or identify your Banana Trading account. We store your Google account identifier with your WordPress account. We do not receive your Google password or request access to your mailbox, contacts or files. Temporary sign-in state expires after ten minutes; authentication tokens are used only for this sign-in and are not stored. Google processes authentication under its own privacy notice. Email and password registration remains available when registration is open. You can contact us about your account and data rights.
Lesson completion
When you mark a lesson as watched, we save its lesson ID and completion time on your Banana Trading account. This self-reported progress helps you resume learning; we do not infer it from video playback. You can uncheck a lesson at any time while it is available to you. Completion does not change your paid access or monthly release schedule. These records are included in WordPress privacy exports and erasure requests. The public course preview stores example completion only in your browser tab and does not update your account.
Broker course-access requests
Michal Wisniewski LLC uses the country of residence, broker name, broker account ID and email you submit, together with the submission date, programme terms and review decision, to verify the referral you request and arrange course access. Where UK GDPR applies, this processing is needed to take steps at your request or provide the requested service (Article 6(1)(b)). Authorised administrators can view the private WordPress record and may check your account reference with the broker. Broker registration is handled by the broker under its own privacy notice; partner referrals may earn us commission.
We do not request broker passwords, API keys, identity documents or balances, and the form does not connect trading accounts or place trades. Ordinary guide choices are not saved. Only the submitted verification request is stored, and no marketing subscription is created.
Pending and unsuccessful records are scheduled for deletion after 90 days. Approved records remain while course access is active; after revocation, the 90-day retention period starts again. Deletion runs through WordPress scheduled tasks. A salted IP hash may be retained for up to an hour to limit form abuse; the request itself does not store your IP.
